Other demographics are tracked in the index but not updated on a monthly basis. They are not updated because those values do not show any variability. We have noted the following attributes for broadband shoppers:
Average age is 35.2
The gender breakdown is 51% Female, 49% Male.
Broadband buyers are 15% more likely than the national average to own a PC.
Broadband buyers are 17% more likely to spend 15 hours or greater on line per week.
Broadband buyers are 7% more likely to telecommute from home.
The data compiled to build this index is dervied from transactions on the BuyTelco web site. Third party databases were incorporated to glean additional behavioral and demographic relationships.
